Alex Paulsen Bullard was a man whose life mirrored its fertile fields he so lovingly cared for. Born October 10, 1993 in Streator, Illinois to Paul and Sharlene (Paulsen) Bullard, he thrived within an environment filled with warmth and affection from family life he experienced growing up near Cornell, Illinois, as a strong tie to rural roots shaped his later life and career choices.

Education and Career

Alex is an example of dedication and hard work; graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Agriculture Business from Illinois State University was not simply an accomplishment in its own right; rather it served as the cornerstone to becoming farm manager and lead herdsman at Bullard Cattle Company – taking pride in handling every task that was assigned him with passion and success!

Alex was delighted by a beautiful chapter in his personal life on June 22, 2018, as he married Kellie Pilalis in an emotionally moving ceremony held at Princeton, Illinois. Together they welcomed two extraordinary children – Halle and Krew – into this world who became his focus of love and dedication, providing him with a stable home environment for them both to grow up together.

Alex was not only known for his professional achievements; he also dedicated much of his life to giving back to his community. As evidence of this involvement were his 4H and FFA activities during school years – testaments of both agricultural education and youth development that proved so beneficial not just to himself but to many lives he touched along his way.

Alex was not only an exceptional farmer and family man; he was an impressively skilled athlete as well. His love of sports could be found throughout his school days where he excelled as a competitive athlete; even at university level where he went on to play baseball and make lasting impressions with coaches and teammates alike.

Alex was known for making important contributions in agriculture, especially within the cattle industry. He worked closely with Simmental and Charolais breeds of cattle showcasing his deep understanding and love of farming – not simply as a job but as something truly enjoyable he espoused as part of his profession and passion for it!

Hobbies and Interests

Alex had numerous interests outside his professional and community obligations that gave his life meaning and enjoyment. From motoring cars, to boating and traveling around Europe on motorcycles; all were hobbies which gave his adventurous side full expression – though, above all else, his truest love lay with his family and loved ones.

Tragic Loss

On June 10, 2021, Alex Paulsen Bullard at age 27 died unexpectedly due to an auto accident, leaving behind many who knew and loved him, especially his young family members who mourn his departure with heartbreak and despair.

Legacy and Memorial

Alex left behind a lasting legacy filled with passion, devotion, and love that will not soon be forgotten by agricultural community, family members and friends. On June 15, 2021 Christ Community Church in Gridley hosted his funeral service where family, friends and members from his wider community came together to commemorate both his life and legacy.
