From Feb 2005 to May 2008, She served at WGN-TV Chicagomas a General Assignment Reporter. Rutledge was responsible for performing live on different newscasts, gathering interviews, setting up stories, writing news stories, and making contacts.
Before that, She served at Chicagoland Television – CLTV as an Anchor and Reporter from Feb 2005 to May 2008. While there, Rutledge maintained her role as a weeknight evening anchor.
She copied edited, editorial management, made and maintained local contacts such as fire, police, local and state government, etc. Also, Amy assisted in setting up daily stories and also took charge of the organization, production, and writing as well as reporting of several half-hour in-depth specials.
