Apex Legends is by and large an incredibly polished game, running smoothly and without major bugs or exploits. Every once in a while an exploit surfaces online, and while some of those exploits are truly frustrating to deal with, this is a perfect example of an exploit adding to the experience.
In the video, posted to the Apex Legends subreddit Aug. 6 by u/BeanBag37, BeanBag and their teammate manage to clamber inside one of the loot balls that can be knocked out of the grasp of the drones that fly over the map. Once they get in there, they lie in wait for enemies to show up.
Eventually, a pair of unsuspecting victims appears to loot the ball. They show absolutely no indication that they can see the players inside, and approach to punch the ball open.
As soon as they do, BeanBag and their teammate pop out and blast them to death, laughing manically the whole time. Hard to blame them. There aren't many feelings better than when a plan comes together.
