Ashley McLean Obituary, Death Cause – In the sad hit-and-run collision that resulted in the death of Ashley McLean, age 27, from Glenolden, Pennsylvania, the Sharon Hill Borough Police Department has taken a significant step toward bringing those responsible to justice. Officer Leslie McLean, a devoted member of the Folcroft Borough Police Department, cherished her daughter Ashley, and she doted on her granddaughter. Domair Lee Brown, age 31 and originally from Sharon Hill, has been named by law enforcement officials as the person they suspect to be responsible for this tragic event.
Brown, who is said to stand 5 feet 9 inches tall and weigh somewhere close to 170 pounds, is currently the focus of a comprehensive search and investigation. Domair Lee Brown is being investigated for a number of serious offenses, some of which include homicide by car, accidents causing death or injury while not licensed, false reports – fraudulently implicating another individual, tampering with or falsifying physical evidence, and unlawful use of a communication service. The severity of the situation and the toll that this tragedy has had on the victim’s family and the community is reflected in the charges that have been brought against the defendant.
On August 26, a hit-and-run event happened when Ashley McLean was walking across Lindbergh Boulevard at 84th Street when she was struck by a Honda Accord. The driver of the Honda Accord did not stop after the collision. The tragedy has left loved ones and friends in our community reeling from the loss of a young life that was full of potential.
