Bill Simmons is a famous American author, sports analyst, podcaster, and previous sports writer currently working on The Ringer as the founder and CEO of the sports and pop culture website.
He first received attention with his website as “The Boston Sports Guy” and in 2001, became recruited by ESPN where he finally operated the website Grantland and served until 2015.
During his time at ESPN, Simmons wrote for ESPN.com, hosted his own podcast on ESPN.com titled The B.S. Report, and served for a period of two years on NBA Countdown as an analyst.
