Boca Bargoons used to be among my favorite haunts with my friend Lynn. She was an artist and could turn a plain living room into lush landscape of fabric and decor in a day. Twice, she recovered my dining room chairs and my patio furniture.
I asked her once to show me how and I would do it myself. “I don’t have the patience,” she said. Anyway, I benefited from her flair and expertise.
If you want unique fabric to make curtains, cover a couch or make some throw pillows, Boca Bargoons is the place to go. Get there by Saturday to take advantage of their 40 percent off sale the lowest ticketed item.
Boca Bargoons is in Boca Raton, of course, at 190 N.W. 20th St. (Take the Glades Road exit east to N.W. 2nd Avenue, go north to 20th Street.)
