The Orlando Fire Department pulled a body from a small lake near downtown Orlando Sunday morning, and authorities were working to identify the deceased male.

A witness who was out taking a walk around 9:35 a.m. saw the body floating in Lake Dot, which is surrounded by a strip of park land on the south side of West Colonial Drive, said Michelle Guido, a spokeswoman for the Orlando Police Department.

Police were only calling the event a suspicious incident. Detectives are working on the case and no further information was expected until Monday, she said.
