Can you play Persona 5 Royal on PlayStation 5? Persona 5 was a lambasting game that came out of the gates swinging in the West in 2016. As a re-release came out in 2019 for the PS4, players' question now is, will it be on the PlayStation 5?

There is always the option of backwards compatibility with the PlayStation 5, so technically, yes, you can play it on the PlayStation 5. Will it be re-released on the next generation PlayStation 5?

There has been no announcement of this but it most likely will have its own upgrade to the new system from the old PlayStation 4 as there have been graphical upgrades to the new system and it would be a letdown if there was no new announcements for the game to have its own native release on the PlayStation 5.

Hopefully we can see it through to another great re-release on another great new system.
