V’s adventure across Night City sees them dealing with all manner of different people. From the corporate elite, through to the seedy criminal underbelly, V is forced to deal with them all. Many of the key conversations V will have with these people take place in cutscenes, but sometimes you may not have the time or the patience to watch them all the way through, especially if it isn’t your first playthrough. Here’s how to skip cutscenes in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to Skip Cutscenes in Cyberpunk 2077
To skip cutscenes in Cyberpunk 2077 simply press and hold the Circle button on PlayStation and B on Xbox One. For PC players press and hold the space bar.
Doing this will see the cutscene end, and you’ll be thrown back into V’s shoes and the hustle and bustle of Night City.
While we wouldn’t advise you skip cutscenes on your first playthrough, due to the fact this is where a lot of the story beats take place, if you’re doing a second or even third playthrough to check out the various Lifepaths, being able to cut down some of the playtime this way can be handy.
As for skipping dialog sections, you can skip lines by pressing Circle/ B/ tapping space bar. Doing this will cause the dialog to skip onto the next line, but be warned that sometimes you’ll need to make a dialog choice for V, and mashing the button to skip through dialog could cause you to accidentally select a line or action that could completely derail your approach to a mission.
In other words, skip with caution, my fellow Night City citizens.
