Trials of Osiris' rewards for this week are still claimable even though Bungie was once again forced to cancel the event. This is another troubling development for this game mode, which has seen many problems since it was released last March. This newest one has proven tricky to solve, and it's entirely possible Trials will be cancelled next week as well.

Trials of Osiris Cancelled This Week, But Rewards Remain

Due to an issue with Fireteam Rejoin functionality, Trials of Osiris has been disabled for the remainder of the weekend.

We will provide updates when available.

Last week Trials was disabled due to a win-trading system players devised. This system involved two Fireteams making contact with each other in a match and using a randomizer to decide who wins and who dies. Neither of the teams actually play the mode, and the "losing" team simply commits suicide and goes off to find another match. Although Bungie believed they fixed this issue, it's apparent teams have found ways to skirt around that fix. It may be a while before Trials is able to fully stamp out this new exploit.

The Lighthouse will be re-enabled soon for those who have access with a Flawless card. Players may also redeem any earned Trials tokens to Saint-14 through the weekly reset.

The good news is that Bungie isn't disabling rewards for people who have already played Trials. Those who went flawless already will still be able to go to the Lighthouse, and players with tokens will be able to turn them into Saint-14 for loot.

Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris Rewards 3/12-16

Here are the rewards for the week:

  • 3 wins — Pyrrhic Ascent Grasps, Gauntlets and Gloves (Hunter, Titan and Warlock arms)
  • 5 wins — Igneous Hammer, Solar hand cannon
  • 7 wins — Sola’s Scar, Solar sword
  • Flawless — Adept The Messenger Kinetic pulse rifle — random Adept mod

It was announced a couple weeks ago that in the future, Trials would have a solo "freelance" variant. Hopefully this can provide the boost Trials desperately needs to become a healthy, viable game mode in Destiny 2.
