Benvenuto Restaurant, 1730 N. Federal Highway, Boynton Beach, is back under the management of the Perron family from Brooks Restaurant, Deerfield Beach. The 1929 building has been refurbished, and the menu will feature such items as an Oreo Cookie appetizer made with grilled eggplant, goat cheese and marinara sauce; osso buco; fresh salmon; lamb chops and homemade desserts. A new Prezzo restaurant is open for dinner – and soon for lunch, too – at Loehmann’s Fashion Island, 18831 Biscayne Blvd. in Aventura. This is the second Prezzo in Dade County, and will feature homemade pastas as well as appetizers, salads and desserts.

Hard Rock Cafe Miami, scheduled to open Sept. 22 at Bayside Marketplace, 401 Biscayne Boulevard, has announced that Yves Ambroise will be the restaurant’s executive chef. He’ll oversee two assistant chefs, 35 line cooks, 20 prep cooks, andfive line supervisors.
The cafe will serve foods such as hamburgers, sandwiches, seafood, ribs, chicken, salads and soups. Prices will range from $6.95 to $15.95. No reservations are accepted.

Out of Denmark, 1715 S. Federal Highway, Suite B-1/S, Delray Beach, is scheduled to have its grand opening on Oct. 7. The restaurant, which features Scandinavian cuisine, will be open for dinner from Wednesdays through Mondays. Menu items include Snapper en Pappilotte, Norwegian Salmon, Rack of Lamb, and a complimentary petite Danish cold table including grav lox with dill mustard sauce, North Sea herring, fresh artichokes and other Danish delicacies.
