Ellen Bacca is a preeminent American meteorologist currently serving at WOOD TV8 as a chief meteorologist since September 2014. Before, Bacca reported on Hurricane Arthur for WCTI-TV in the coastal city of New Bern.
Recently, She was chosen as one of the only broadcast meteorologists in the nation to participate in the National Severe Storms Laboratory Hazardous Weather Testbed study to experiment with the next generation of tornado and severe storm warnings.
