The German actress and singer, Eva-Maria Hagen was born on 19 October 1934. Eva-Maria was known as “Brigitte Bardot of GDR”, but was sacked for political reasons.
She was born in Koltschen (present-day Poland). She joined the Berliner Ensemble in 1953 after completing an apprenticeship as a mechanist in 1952.
