Evil Geniuses releases, Clinton "Fear" Loomis from their official roster after EG released Rasmus "MISERY" Filipesen earlier in the day.
The official statement from EG reads, "We're electing to go our separate ways now in order to give all parties to solidify next steps for The International. Both players' experience and leadership will be valuable in their next Dota endeavors; we wish them the best of luck."
Evil Geniuses were on the lower end of the spectrum, with the latest Dota Pro Circut Rankings. EG was invited to ESL One Birmingham as the number seven seed, and actually dropped to 11 after the conclusion of the tournament.
We will not have to wait and see how the team will come together to bring a roster that will compete for a spot in Open Qualifiers and The International.
