This weekend’s Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star basketball games will feature several players from Broward County.
The roster for the girls team features Archbishop McCarthy’s Destiny Jones and South Broward’s Cedricka Sweeting. Also on the team are two members of Dillard’s three-time state championship team–center Macy Keen and guard Shatorria Baker. Panthers coach Marcia Pinder, who earlier this year was named the WBCA High School Coach of the Year, will coach the girls squad.
Steve Falcon of Sheridan Hills will represent Broward County on the boys All-Star team.
The FACA All-Star games will take place Saturday, March 17 at Indian River State College. The girls game is slated to tipoff at 11 a.m. while the boys are scheduled to tip-off at 1 p.m.
