Chimay beer tasting

Chimay, the Beligan ale created and brewed by Trappist monks, will be featured at 6 p.m. at Morton’s The Steakhouse, 777 S. Flagler Dr., West Palm Beach, 561-835-9664. Guests will be served Morton’s Petite Filet Mignon sandwiches, tuna tartare canapes, sliced smoked salmon and Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake. $45 per person with $5 from every ticket donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Taste of Oakland Park and Wilton Manors
6-9 p.m., Monday
The Oakland Park and Wilton Manors Chamber of Commerce presents the seventh annual TASTE Food and Wine Festival at El Palacio Hotel. Advance tickets are $25 or $40 for two. They’re $30 at the door. Participating restaurants include One Tea Lounge and Cafe, Georgie’s Alibi, Rendezvous, L’Hermitage Catering, Darryl’s, All Saints Soup Kitchen, Gelato Station, Spanky’s Cupcakes, Tasty Thai, Matty’s on the Drive and Humpy’s Pizza and Panini. Proceeds benefit chamber programs.
