Jungle Island is offering free admission to our military heroes and first responders in honor of Veterans Day.
TVeterans, active-duty military, police, fire and EMT personnel get free park admission on Saturday through Nov. 15, a $34.95 value. Plus, up to four family members get 50 percent off admission, too.
A valid military ID or employee badge must be shown at the ticket office.
Spend a fun day exploring this unique South Florida zoological theme park, located on Watson Island off the MacArthur Causeway, which offers animal encounters, safari tours and the lemur experience. Wear your bating suite and cool off at the Rainforest Riptide, an nflatable water park floating in Biscayne Bay. It opens at 11 a.m. and costs $15 extra.
Tickets are $34.95 for adults, $26.95 for kids 3-10 and free for 2 and under. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami, 305-400-7000.
