Parker is a well-known broadcast journalist. He has been a morning news anchor for WZVN-ABC since April 2017. M-F 4:30 a.m. – 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., he co-anchors and reports on feature stories that drive our morning program.
He formerly served as a morning anchor at WEHT-ABC WTVW-CW. Similarly, he co-anchored Eyewitness News Daybreak from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday. He was also a producer and reporter for “The Habitat Story” (Wednesdays at 4 p.m.).
Parker, on the other hand, contributed to the feature series “Behind the Badge” (Thursday nights at 6 p.m.). He also served as a news anchor and producer at KFDX-NBC. During his time here, he co-anchored the 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. KFDX 3 News Today newscasts.
He also produced and hosted KFDX-3 News at noon, Monday through Friday. In addition, he worked as a reporter and a fill-in producer. He formerly worked at WTIU-TV (PBS) as an anchor, reporter, producer, and scheduling director.
Most notably, in 2001, he was part of a media team. He garnered international acclaim for a short film he and his crew created and produced. In recognition of this, he won the Hollywood Student Film Competition for a documentary he presented and narrated.
