I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.6.
I have tried the popular method of merging the files with QuickTime, but it's not working. Is there a free way to do this?

You would (most likely) have to install QuickTime 7 from your Mac OS X DVD or from the Apple Homepage and get a license for QuickTime Pro.Join MP4 files using MKVToolshttp:// open MKVTools- click on the Tools tab and select join- simply drag the mp4 files into the square box where it says "Drop mp4 files here..."If you want more options you probably have to pay for a decent softwarehttp://
