Escape From Tarkov is a first person MMO shooter developed by Battlestate Games exclusively for PC. The game has been in Beta development with open servers since July of 2017.
The game has been riddled with occasional server issues and outages, and players of the game have been left wondering often since release if the game is running, unless they physically try for themselves.

In a forum post for Escape from Tarkov , a user states that there is "currently there is no way of telling if servers are online or how many people are online playing."
Unfortunately, this seems to be the truth. Despite status updates on occasion from the official Battlestate Games Twitter, there is no official page displaying accurate server updates, and there hasn't been one in over a year. With a growing fanbase and community, one would hope that Battlestate would create a page like this on the game's website to check server status so you can play with your friends, but we are yet to have this. You can check websites dedicated to game server statuses, but unless problems are directly reported to them. there is no way of telling how accurate sites like these are.
