Exactly 30 years after it fired a fatal shot into Lee Harvey Oswald, the pistol used by Jack Ruby blazed away again on Wednesday – this time for profit.

The gun became famous when Ruby, on national television, fired a single shot at the presumed assassin on Nov. 24, 1963, in the basement of the Dallas police station, just two days after President Kennedy’s murder.

The .38 special Colt Cobra was sold for $220,000 to Anthony Pugliese of Gulf Stream.

On Wednesday, Ruby’s brother Earl showed up at a Delray Beach firing range to squeeze off 100 anniversary shots for sale to the public, complete with a plaque, certificate of authenticity and a photo of the shooting – for $2,500.
