Apex Legends Fight Night Patch Notes bring some balance adjustments that aren't anything game changing, but are sure to please players who favor certain Legends. Here's what was balanced in the Fight Night patch.

We’re starting 2021 off with a haymaker thanks to our Season 7 Collection Event - Fight Night. To walk you through it, we chatted with designers Jason and Davis in our first Devstream of the year.

Apex Legends Fight Night Patch Notes: Legend Buffs and Weapon Nerfs

According to Respawn, the balances provide smaller power increases. "Horizon released strong, but not overpowered. The below buffs are aimed at small power increases. Rampart still needs overall power, and the Caustic buff is an extra bit of compensation for the loss of vision blur from gas in Season 7," Respawn wrote in the official patch notes.

Two Legends got some significant updates: Rampart and Caustic. They're underperforming this season, so they received some cooldown buffs. Rampart's Amped Cover cooldown has been reduced to 20 seconds from 30, and Caustic's Nox Gas Trap cooldown has been lowered to 20 seconds from 25.

For weapons, we have a few adjustments with the Hemlok, Mastiff and Prowler. The Hemlok is one of the best weapons in the game currently, and has had its damage decreased to 20 from 22. Mastiff is also over-performing, so the spread of its third and fourth pellets has been increased to lower its overall effective range. The Prowler had its reserve bullets increased to 210 from 175. Since the Prowler uses special ammo, this should help it see some more use.
