Lionel Richie recognised by Library of Congress as he wins award

Lionel Richie is playing a clutch of UK and Ireland tour dates in summer 2023.

It's been a few years since the UK has had the pleasure of Lionel Richie's company, but the singer, songwriter and American Idol judge is coming back next summer for a series of shows.
The man himself announced the news with a post on Twitter, along with a teaser video for the upcoming dates.
"I'm excited to announce that I'll be returning to the UK and Europe next June and July!" Richie said
"Can't wait to see you all there!"
Tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday, November 4.
