The third and final patch for MapleStory’s Ark Update is going live today, unveiling a new area of the Arcane River: Esfera, The Sea of Beginnings. Esfera is the 6th region of the Arcane River and is the direct continuation from the end of Morass The Swamp of Memories.
This region is not for the faint of hearts however, as players are required to be level 235 or beyond to enter. And this is called for, because besides the stronger mobs you'll find in the region you can also find Will, one of the commanders of Maple Story's main antagonist, The Black mage.
Will has also been officially designated as "the toughest boss" in the Maple World so far, as you will be battling him and another version of himself that exists in the parallel universe of the Mirror World at the same time.
With all this talk of "end-game" and "deciding the fate of the Maple World", it seems to imply the region to be a finale to MapleStorySEA. If you've been missing out, you can register for an account here and download the game here.
