Mike Joy is a known American journalist and TV sports announcer. Presently, he works for Fox Sports’ coverage of NASCAR as the lap-by-lap voice, his color analysts are Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer. He became a pit reporter for CBS’ coverage, in June 1983.
He went on to broadcast for MRN radio since CBS didn’t inform many races. Additionally, he created The Nashville Network’s NASCAR coverage in 1991, as a lap-by-lap announcer. He went on till 1995 and took part in live NASCAR coverage on TBS.

He joined up with former crew chief Larry McReynolds and Hall of Fame driver Darrell Waltrip to form the network’s broadcast team. His 21st as lead TV race announcer was The 2021 Daytona 500.
Fox sent him to call a Minnesota Twins/Tampa Bay Rays Major League Baseball game in September 2008. He is popular for his work at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion as the TV host. Also, he worked for TV coverage of Barrett-Jackson collector car auctions as an on-the-block expert. He won the Bonham’s Historic Trans-Am race at Laguna Seca in August 2012.
