Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition contents were highly anticipated after the game made its debut at the Game Awards on Thursday with a typically bloody announcement trailer. That trailer included an April 23 release date, and developer NetherRealms followed it up by announcing a pair of purchasing options called Standard Edition and Premium Edition.

The $59.99 Standard Edition offers only the base game, though players who pre-order it will receive access to the Mortal Kombat 11 closed beta and Shao Kahn as a playable character. Those same pre-order bonuses apply to the $99.99 Premium Edition, which sports additional perks regardless of pre-order status.

Although NetherRealms and publisher Warner Bros have kept details on the Premium Edition fairly limited, a leak from an Italian GameStop website indicates the Premium Edition will include a steel case for the game and a Kombat Pass. The Kombat Pass will likely function as a season pass for downloadable content released after the game's launch, and the leak states it will include "6 Characters and 6 Battle Pass."

Neither NetherRealms nor Warner Bros has commented on the leak.
