Our class is a special education classroom, so we make our own curriculum and learning materials based on the individual needs of our students. This project will allow our classroom staff to make materials including visual schedules for the students. All materials will need to be printed and laminated so that they survive the year, as our students can be a bit rough on material. The Brother Compact Laser Printer and the Scotch Advanced Thermal Laminator will allow us to make these materials! Velcro (Vkey dots) is probably the most used item in a special education classroom it can be used on bulletin boards, schedules, games, you name it. Our class will also benefit from having different sensory toys available to them.
