The owners of Juice & Java Café near Town Center mall have unveiled this health-conscious eatery — free of fryers and microwaves — in Fifth Avenue Shops.
“Juice & Java Café has been a huge success in the three years since we took ownership. We focused on taking the best parts and creating a sister restaurant,” says Brandi Levinson, owner with her husband, Jordan. “It’s in a different market for us close to Mizner Park and the beach and really targets the live-and-play aspect of Boca.”
Best-sellers include Green Life juice ($5.95, $9.95), Max’s salad with quinoa and feta ($10.95), turkey burger quesadilla ($10.95) and Mish Mash with brown rice or quinoa, grilled veggies and turkey burger ($11.95). The vegan, gluten-free Dragon Bowl blends dragon fruit, banana, coconut water, chia seeds and granola ($9.95). Wine and beer are on the way.
A front patio covered with an attractive louvered sunshade leads to a gray-blue interior with weathered wood, brushed metal and Edison lamps.
Three meals a day are served weekdays. Weekend hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
