Northern Gaming is a Canadian esports organization co-owned by popular streamer Chance "sodapoppin" Morris. In the past, they have been in active in Rocket League, Overwatch, and World of Warcraft.
Their future is now with NRG Esports, who has acquired them and all their assets.
NRG Esports is itself a prominent esports organization who has active rosters across many games, including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, and Rocket League.
Northern Gaming founder and co-owner Mark Maring wrote on social media, "Joining NRG will give our players and streamers unrivaled opportunity, and allow them to be more impactful in the esports ecosystem than we were able to with Northern Gaming."

Maring will work with NRG Esports as Assistant General Manager of Gaming, while sodapoppin will join NRG Esports as owner, advisor, and streamer. Previous Northern Gaming social media accounts will, after a short period, be converted to personal accounts or folded into the NRG brand.
In parting with his old organization, Maring said, "I am truly honoured to have had these opportunities because of Northern Gaming, and am excited for all our futures with NRG."
