PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — The National Hockey League announced Wednesday that the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Boston Bruins will faceoff in the 2023 Winter Classic.
The annual outdoor game will be played on January 2 at Fenway Park in Boston.
Boston is 3-1 in franchise history in outdoor games, while Pittsburgh holds an outdoor game record of 2-2-1.
Additional details about the 2023 Winter Classic, including ticket information, will be announced at a later date.
