If you have read my letter to Mayor Johnny Magee and the Laurel City Council that has been published on the front page of today’s paper, you know that I am calling on our public officials to get involved in helping us uncover the truth behind why the Burroughs/Sinclair Windermere shooting case seems to have been handled differently from other cases by the Laurel Police Department.
Leader-Call reporter Mark Thornton has done a brilliant job of uncovering some disturbing facts surrounding the case, but because of a lack of cooperation from the LPD, we still don’t have some very important answers.
