KOMPAS.com - Suami model Abby Choi, Tam Chuk Kwan, berjanji akan terus merawat keempat anaknya setelah kematian sang istri.
Tam Chuk Kwan juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Abby Choi karena sudah hadir di dalam hidupnya.
Tam Chuk Kwan berbicara kepada media lokal melalui seorang teman keluarga dan menggambarkan bahwa Choi merupakan istri yang baik hati dan selalu membantu orang lain.
"Dia mendukung saya dan sangat mencintai saya. Dia juga membesarkan empat anak yang lucu dan penurut. Merupakan berkah menjadi keluarga atau teman Abby," katanya seperti dilansir dari The Straits Times, Senin (27/2/2023).
Tam Chap Kwan, ayah Tam Chuk Kwan yang juga pendiri rantai restoran TamJai Yunnan Mixian, memuji Abby Choi.
Ia menggambarkannya sebagai putri berharga tanpa hubungan darah.
Dia juga mengungkapkan bahwa Abby Choi merupakan seorang ibu yang bertanggung jawab.
Istri Tam yang lebih tua mengatakan, Abby Choi akan selalu memastikan untuk makan bersamanya atau membeli hadiah selama Hari Ibu dan perayaan ulang tahun.
Model berusia 28 tahun itu menggelar pernikahan dengan Tam Chuk Kwan pada 2016. Tetapi pasangan tersebut tidak pernah mendaftarkan pernikahannya secara resmi.
Sementara itu, tidak diketahui kapan Abby Choi resmi cerai dari Alex Kwong, yang orangtua dan saudara laki-lakinya terlibat dalam penyelidikan polisi atas pembunuh tragis tersebut.
Sebagai informasi, Abby Choi ditemukan tewas dengan kondisi tubuh termutilasi pada Jumat (24/2/2023).
Adapun Abby Choi menikah dengan Alex Kwong saat ia berusia 18 tahun.
Dari pernikahan tersebut, mereka dikaruniai dua orang anak yang kini berusia 8 dan 10 tahun.
Sedangkan, Abby Choi juga diketahui memiliki dua buah hati bersama Tam Chuk Kwan.
Saudara laki-laki dan ayah Kwong didakwa melakukan pembunuhan, sedangkan ibunya didakwa menyelewengkan jalan keadilan.
Ketiganya akan muncul di pengadilan Kowloon Senin, (27/2/2023).
Kwong ditangkap pada hari Sabtu (25/2/2023) ketika berusaha melarikan diri dari Hong Kong dan penyelidikan atas keterlibatannya sedang berlangsung.
