Stewards Golden Chest Shadowlands Explained
First, you'll need to speak with Elios in Hero's Rest. The chest is next to him, but you'll need a key to open it. Elios will tell you about the Steward of the day and their location. You'll need to head to the location noted and bring a Ripe Purian to the Steward. In return, you'll get the Steward's Golden Key, which you can take back to Elios and open the chest.
You can find Ripe Purians all over Bastion. They spoil after five days, so you'll have to keep going back to get more if you want to repeat the Steward of the day. If you're having trouble finding the Ripe Purians, Stewards near Silver Strongboxes will give you Heightened Olfaction so you can see the fruit on your mini-map for five minutes.
Ripe Purians are used to unlock a variety of things around Bastion. Most notably, you need them to open Silver Strongboxes. To start the Purian related quests, you'll need to have complete the Fruit of the Gods quest first. You'll have to find a Ripe Purian for Elios to kick off your fruit couriering to the Stewards.
