Hurricane Lee continued to move across northwest the Atlantic as a Category 3 storm over the weekend, and is expected to take a turn to the north by mid-week, according to the latest forecast from the National Hurricane Center.
Lee was located is northeast of Puerto Rico early Monday. By next weekend, it is forecast to be off the mid-Atlantic coast. Forecasters said it is sstill too early to be certain about the hurricane’s effects on the U.S. coast. Here’s the latest tracking map:
