Todd Yakoubian is a renowned American Meteorologist presently working as a weather forecaster for KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas. He joined the KATV weather team in August 2005. Prior to that, Todd served as a weather forecaster at WRCB-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee from August 1999 until August 2005. Before that, he worked as a meteorologist at KPAX-TV in Missoula, Montana.

From January 1997 to August 1999, he served as the station’s morning and chief meteorologist. Moreover, he is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and received the prestigious seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the prestigious seal of approval from the National Weather Association (NWA).

Todd landed his first TV job in Missoula, Montana where he served as a morning meteorologist.

Later, he was promoted to become the channel’s chief meteorologist. Prior to joining KATV, he worked in Chattanooga, TN. During his stint, Todd was part of the team of meteorologists that received the Tennessee Associated Press Award for best weathercast. He also covered the extensive flooding that was caused by Hurricane Ivan as well as the Veterans Day outbreak of tornadoes.

Throughout his career, Todd earned several awards including “2010 Arkansas Associated Press 2nd Place for “Best Weathercast”, 2011 Arkansas Associated Press 3rd Place for “Best Weathercast”, and 2015 Arkansas Associated Press 1st Place for “Best Weathercast”.
