Tri-Rail trains were delayed during the Wednesday morning commute after a fatal crash with a pedestrian in Hollywood.
The accident occurred near Stirling Road and Anglers Avenue just after 8 a.m., according to Deanna Bettineschi, a spokesperson for the Hollywood Police Department.
The unidentified pedestrian died.
The tracks were closed for the investigation, and Tri-Rail announced in a tweet about 8 a.m. that customers will “experience delays” during their Wednesday morning commute as a result of the crash. The company created a bus bridge between the Sheridan Street and Fort Lauderdale Airport stations.
