The full-auto Sykov Akimbo pistols has been nerfed by Raven Software in Call of Duty: Warzone. The questionable pistol abilities in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, multiplayer, would give players the potential for team wipes in a matter of seconds using certain blueprint attachments; after completing the in-game challenge.
The nerfed attachments include:
- Akimbo movement speed reduced by 5%
- 80 Round Drums movement speed reduced by 5%
- Sykov equipped with Sorokin 140mm and 80 round drums, damage is reduced by 25%
Multiple players have fallen victim to the dynamic Sykov pairs and with Raven Software making these changes it gives players now the fighting chance.
?️ A #Warzone update is going live now!

The Season Two Reloaded notes have been updated (see **April 19th):

Warzone Sykov Pistols Nerfed in April 19 Update
These changes only apply when the Sykov are paired, not operated independently. Meaning Warzone players can still have the same capabilities as the akimbo loadout if the operator is using only one Sykov.
Fans have complained that these pistols were arguably the most overpowered weapons in the game. Sometimes, even when a weapon is nerfed the gun still remains strong in the meta. It'll take a little to see if these balances fix the akimbo pistols' strength. Additionally, fans worry about the new weapons coming in Season 3 considering weapons are generally over-tuned on release.
Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3 kicks off April 22.
