Jazz Chisholm Jr.

Jasrado Prince Hermis Arrington "Jazz" Chisholm Jr. is a Bahamian professional baseball second baseman and center fielder for the Miami Marlins in Major League Baseball.

He was signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks as an international free agent in 2015. He made his professional debut in 2016. He spent more years in the minor leagues. Chisholm was then traded to the Marlins on July 31, 2019. He was sent for assignment to Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. Chisholm hit .220/.321/.441 with 21 home runs, 54 runs batted in, and 16 stolen bases in 112 games. Following the 2019 season, Chisholm was added to the Marlins' 40-man roster. He made his debut on September 1, 2020 with the Marlins. He earned his first All-Star selection in 2022.

Chisholm is qualified to represent both the Bahamas and Great Britain in international competition. This is due to the Bahamas status as a former colony of Great Britain. In the 2017 World Baseball Classic qualification, he played for the baseball team of Great Britain. Due to the qualifications for the 2023 edition taking place in Regensburg, Germany, during the 2022 Major League season, he chose not to participate. He did, however, declare that he would play for Great Britain again in the 2023 World Baseball Classic following Great Britain's qualification on September 20. The Marlins, however, forbade this from happening.
