Who is Major Lazer in Fortnite?
Major Lazer is an electronic music trio consisting of producer Diplo and DJs Walshy Fire and Ape Drums. Diplo is the most famous of the three, having produced music for artists such as M.I.A., Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Madonna, Shakira, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and more. He's one of the most prolific producers in pop music, leaving his musical mark on projects from around the music world.
Diplo was also the only member of Major Lazer to appear in the group's Fortnite show, in which he live-streamed himself playing a set of their music into Fortnite. The performance was closer to a real live show than the Travis Scott Astronomical event, but also featured less inventive visual flourishes.
Diplo played the Major Lazer set Friday, and a rebroadcast took place Saturday morning.
