Why did Fortnite give me 1,000 Free V-Bucks, is a question that Fortnite players are happily asking. However, you are only getting the V-Bucks if you have purchased a loot llama.

Epic Games is giving out these V-Bucks to players who have purchased loot llamas after a lawsuit was filed against them, claiming that players should know exactly what they are paying for.

After the lawsuit, Fortnite has now implemented x-ray llamas so that players can see exactly what’s inside. The class-action settlement also included Rocket League, in which users on that game received 1,000 credits.

Why Did Fortnite Give Me 1,000 Free V-Bucks?

This is a win for Fortnite users, though, because a llama only costs 50 V-Bucks. So they really got a steal. However, if you somehow managed to purchase more than 1,000 V-Bucks worth of llamas, you will still only get the set amount of 1,000 back.

If you bought a llama, you should either have your V-Bucks or get them very soon. If you did not buy a llama in Fortnite Save the World, then you will not be receiving the 1,000 V-Bucks.
