Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will not be supporting crossplay between Nintendo Switch and PC.
The fifth trailer of Monster Hunter Stories 2 has just released as it brings excitement to the heart of Monster Hunter fans. Capcom has started its engine with information as the release date approaches.

The trailer included a beautiful cinematic video but also announced a co-op mode. This will be the first time Monster Hunter supports a multiplayer mode. There will be exclusive co-op quests and dual fighting modes available.
We still haven't gotten a set release date, but Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of ruin will be available sometime in summer 2021.
Will Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin Have Crossplay?
In the second trailer of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin released in March 2021, Capcom revealed the game will be available on PC via Steam.
Thus the game will be available on two platforms: Nintendo Switch and PC.
Capcom has not announced crossplay for Monster Hunter Stories 2: wings of Ruin yet. Thus it is highly unlikely for the game to be supporting crossplay.
