WoW World of Warcraft Shadowlands Humble Gatherer quest

Humble Gatherer is a quest in the Path of Ascension storyline in WoW: Shadowlands during which players must gather ingredients to propose their first challenge in the coliseum.

The Path of Ascension has nine quests in total with each focusing on the player's road toward the Path of Ascension and, eventually, the Deep Echo Trident blueprints. The primary quest giver in this chain varies, but its first quest comes from Haephus of the Ascended. Players will have to battle opponents, collect unique ingredients, and journey along the path to complete the full story.

'Humble Gatherer' Quest Guide

First, players need to receive the quest from Apolon in Bastion at 63, 16. Apolon will explain that before they can enter the coliseum, they will need to challenge their first opponent.

"There is a tradition to this, as with all things." He says, "You will need to gather specific items, then bring them back here to fashion armaments to help execute your challenge."

The items he tells players to get are:

• 2x Depleted Goliath Core
• 6x Tampered Anima Charger
• 5x Soul Mirror Shard

Depleted Goliath Cores can be picked up from defeated Dark Goliaths in Bastion. They usually hang out around coordinates ~55, 60.

Tampered Anima Chargers drop from electronic and mechanized enemies such as the Converted—located near coordinates ~51, 17 or ~56, 62.

Soul Mirror Shards can be looted off Forsworn enemies like the ones found near coordinates ~60, 62.

Once gathered, players need to make their way back to the The Mnemonic Locus and return to Apolon. From there, he will direct them to Dactylis, and give them the next quest: Your Friend, Dactylis.
